Description

For all R-6 teachers and Leaders of Learning, this interactive session aims to develop an understanding of what constitutes a quality numeracy block.

Participants will:

• Review the elements of a quality weekly Numeracy Block

• Explore each part of the numeracy block and pedagogy that supports you in the classroom

• Explore how OCHRE and The Mathematics Hub resources can support your planning and teaching in your numeracy block

AITSL National Professional Standards for Teachers Include

Standard 1: Know students and how they learn

Standard 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning

Standard 4: Create and maintain supportive and safe learning environments
