Target Group: School leaders working with early career teachers

Activity Overview

Mentoring is one aspect of supporting early career teacher growth and development. Research indicates that effective mentoring of early career teachers increases teacher retention.

During this workshop, we will consider the elements of an effective mentoring program and look at aspects such as planning for implementation, mentoring the mentors and mentoring conversations. There will also be time to explore the wiki and share current practices.
