What is giftedness and how can we identify it in our students?


Workshop Description:

This PL provides a refresher for those teachers who have an interest in or responsibility for meeting the needs of gifted students at their school. The focus will be on characteristics of gifted students and the process of identification. The key components of GERRIC modules 1 and 2 have formed the basis of this professional learning.

Intended Audience: 

Gifted Education Leaders and R-12 Teachers, Teachers interested in identifying and supporting gifted students in their classrooms, as well as Gifted Co-Ordinators new to their role.
