Effective Stewardship of Resources - Module 2

These modules 1 and 2 aim to strengthen the leader’s capacity in financial leadership and depth, knowledge, understanding and skills required for application in their current context.  It is acknowledged that participants will have diverse experiences and expertise and the professional learning is designed to provide flexible and interactive approaches to learning entry points and outcomes. 

Newly appointed leaders in Diocesan schools are invited to participate in the Effective Stewardship of Resources Modules. 

Please note: newly appointed Principals are required to attend and it is strongly advised that they invite their Business/Finance Managers to register as well.

Attendance is recommended at both Modules 1 & 2:

Module 1: Tuesday 28 March 2023 8:30am to 11:30am

Module 2: Monday 21 August 2023 8:30am to 11:30am

The program for Module 2 includes:

•        School budget
•        School finances/budget analysis
•        Capacity building in how the budget is formulated, monitored and reported
  
•        The leader’s role in responsible stewardship of the school’s finances
  
•         The current CESA landscape
