Introduction to Made in the Image of God (MITIOG) Human Sexuality Curriculum Years R-12

This course is for teachers who will be teaching the Made in the Image of God (MITIOG) Human Sexuality curriculum (draft 2021) and need to do the required training.

Teachers looking to refresh their knowledge in the recently updated curriculum are also encouraged to undertake the course. Please note it can be used for CPF Level 3.

The aim of this is to assist teachers to develop an understanding of the Made in the Image of God, Human Sexuality curriculum and gain confidence and competence in teaching the curriculum.

This day will include:

- Familiarisation with the updated Made in the Image of God Human Sexuality curriculum      including the new structure and updated content

- Exploration of values underpinning the Made in the Image of God Human Sexuality              curriculum.

- Managing sensitivities and protocols for the teaching of the curriculum

Time: 9am - 4pm

Venue: Catholic Education Office, George Street, Thebarton

Intended for: R-12 teachers new to Sexuality Education in a Catholic School. It is a requirement that all CESA teachers are trained in this curriculum before teaching is undertaken in MITIOG.
