Module 5 - Resources for language learning:
 

• examine the nature and purpose of resources for language learning 
• consider the use of resources for language teaching and learning
• discuss how resources may be best adapted or developed for effective learning

Module 9 - Developing relationships and wider connections

• Consider the idea of valuing languages and cultures teaching and learning
• consider the benefits of participating in a professional learning community
• consider how we, as teachers, resource ourselves
• use the Standards to develop strategies to engage with wider contexts, develop relationships and advocate for languages and cultures education

• writing materials
• Teaching and Learning Languages: A Guide by Angela Scarino and Anthony J Liddicoat (each school in Australia received a copy of this book in 2010)

Catering: Morning tea will be provided. Participants can make use of the facilities close to the venue for lunch.

Funding: TRT support will be available for teachers in  Catholic Schools
