Intended Audience

This training is for new Coordinators.  It may also be appropriate for NAPLAN Coordinating teams.  Individual experienced NAPLAN Coordinators are encouraged to complete the refresher modules via the Department for Education's Plink website.

This one-day online workshop provides the training required for staff who are new to the role of NAPLAN online Coordinator.

It is highly recommended that two participants from each school be trained, to provide support for each other up to and during:

• the national Coordinated Practice Test on 28 February and
• the NAPLAN Online test window from 15 - 27 March 2023.

Focus

Participants will gain:

• advice on correctly scheduling the NAPLAN Online program of tests to ensure all students undertake all required online tests during the test window
• strategies for supporting their students’ and school readiness
• thorough training in all NAPLAN Coordinator functions of the 2023 version of the NAPLAN online assessment platform, in the context of the authorised national test protocols
• insights and strategies for in-school training of teachers to be Test Administrators using the 2023 online assessment platform, supported by nationally developed training materials
