8 August - Workshop 1
Familiarisation with the Structure of the Australian Curriculum and Revised Content in English.
The first online workshop will support participants to build their understanding of the review process and become familiar with Version 9.0 of the Australian Curriculum in English. Participants will identify the key changes in their specific teaching field (R-2/ 3-6 or 7-10), including content removal, refinement, and realignment, while emphasising the integration of general capabilities and cross-curricular priorities.
15 and 22 August - Workshops 2 and 3
Curriculum and Assessment Mapping Part A and Part B
(Participants are required to attend both sessions)
Workshops 2 and 3 will support participants to:
- consider the conceptual development of learning when planning their teaching and learning program and
- ensure that all the Achievement Standards and Content Descriptions are taught and effectively assessed.
This 2-part workshop series is interactive and highly collaborative. Where possible, participants are encouraged to engage in this professional learning opportunity with colleagues, including their year level team or faculty where applicable.
This workshop will take place over 3 days and participants are encouraged to attend all 3 days.
