FOCUS OF PROFESSIONAL NETWORK MEETING:

• Catholic Education SA's Aboriginal Education Strategy update and consultation process;
• Presentation of the Draft Cultural Learning Plan - trial completed; and 
• Presentation by Tjimari Sanderson-Milera from Kumarninthi.

INTENDED FOR:

Aboriginal Education Focus Teachers.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own device to the session.

FACILITATOR:

• Geoff Aufderheide, Aboriginal Education Advisor, Catholic Education SA

AITSL Australian Professional Standards for Teachers include:

• Standard 1: Know students and how they learn (focus area 1.4)
• Standard 2: Know the content and how to teach it (focus area 2.4)
• Standard 6: Engage in professional learning (focus area 6.2)

REQUIREMENT:

Participants are asked to refer to the attached map for car parking details for the Queen of Angels Church car park. To access the George Street site, please use the controlled crossing at the intersection of George Street and South Road.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Please advise if you have dietary requirements.
