2023 Induction for New Education Support Officers (ESO)

Staff from the People, Leadership & Culture and Catholic Identity & Mission Sections will facilitate the session, which will cover the following topics:

• Education Support Officer supporting the mission of a Catholic school.
• Duty of Care.
• Protective Practices for Staff in their interactions with students.
• Key employment matters for ESOs.
• Professional Development opportunities and Study Incentive Program funding.     

Microsoft Teams is available to allow country participants to participate in the Induction session.  Please ensure your attendance via Microsoft Teams is indicated by ticking the box indicated.  A link will be forwarded to those attending via Microsoft Teams once registrations close on Wednesday, 2 August 2023. Please contact us if you are from a metropolitan Catholic school and unable to attend the face-to-face session.
