Intended Audience

Educators with a key responsibility for co-facilitating the implementation of a school improvement priority in EALD.

Description

The network for EALD Lead Teachers will provide participants with the opportunity to form learning partnerships that aspire for EALD learners to be thriving and capable learners, with a specific focus on the key capabilities in the Living Learning Leading framework and the Living Learning Leading Standard.

Current and new teachers who have a specific responsibility for EALD learners in their schools are encouraged to register to be part of this professional learning network in 2023.

Network Focus

  • Lead teacher development for quality school improvement
  • System strategies and EALD
  • Building knowledge about language (grammar) and EALD pedagogy

  • Sharing of practice – differentiation for primary and secondary settings where appropriate
  • Living Leading Learning framework and standard: Student Agency, community engagement, learning and assessment design
