Tactical Teaching Reading by Webex 2012

These two workshops will be delivered live and online using Webex Training Centre software. Participants must have  a computer with camera, micro phone/headphones and internet access. Teachers are advised to participate in a 15 minute familiarisation session prior to commencement of the course at a negotiated time.

Tactical Teaching Reading workshops and course materials were developed by STEPS Professional Development, a wholly owned subsidiary of Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia. 

Tactical Teaching Reading Processes and Tactical Teaching Reading Strategies are suitable for middle school teachers from Years 6-9 and Years 8-12 ESL teachers who would like practical and easy to implement activities that support reading in their classes. Teachers will be able to make reading strategies visible in their learning area and will increase their knowledge and understanding of the reading process.

On completion of these workshops teachers will be eligible for points towards the new CESA EAL Certificate.

It is recommended that participants register for both workshops

$64 per teacher (if paid by the school)
$64 plus $5.80 GST (if paid by the teacher)
