The Secondary Numeracy Network aims to provide middle and senior teachers with:

• relevant and up to date information relating to the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics, SACE and other contemporary initiatives
• engage in discussion and networking related to current developments
• build expertise in leading the implementation of new initiatives

The Term 2 Network will be held Thursday 24 May 2012 from 9.00 am to 12 noon in Room 7 at the Catholic Education Office, 116 George Street, Thebarton.  The agenda will be:

• updating of the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics
• using the achievement Standards – a work in progress
• developing mathematical reasoning
