THIS COURSE IS CURRENTLY FULL PLEASE CALL MEL PHILLIPS WITH QUERIES

Tuesday 14 August – 8:45am to 4:00pm

Term 3, Week 5

This day aims to explore biblical themes in contemporary culture - including music and film.

As someone once said, if you live in the western world then your life has been influenced by the Bible whether or not you are a believer. Biblical themes can be found in movies and music, from implicit values and similarities to explicit and overt use such as the body of work from U2.

We will explore some of these examples and look at ways they may be used to assist in making connections for our students.

Cost: $45 if paid by school

$49.50 if paid by individual (GST must be charged)

$25 if concession

Can be used as a System Accredited Module if participation
is full day AND a 1500 reflection task is completed.
