Description

Gianfranco’s visit to Adelaide will consist of two different sessions, on consecutive days, as follows:

• Wednesday 14 September: 2 hour session for teachers new to Gianfranco Conti's content, or for those who would like a short refresher session.
• Thursday 15 September: full day professional learning on curriculum design and assessment practices, with a practical focus on curriculum design, formative and summative assessment practices based on Gianfranco’s contemporary language teaching pedagogies for different contexts:

     - listening and reading as modelling

     - priming students for speaking and writing

     - using a synergy of listening and reading-for-learning, thereby facilitating learning
       and building students' self-confidence and self-efficacy, whilst creating durable
       retention.

Participants are free to attend one or both sessions.
