Workshop Description
Come to Nature Play HQ at Wittunga House for the Supporting Children’s Development Through Playful Pedagogies (Applying the Australian Early Development Census) workshops.
Nature Play SA, will provide provocations where educators can apply knowledge of the AEDC domains to their understanding of children, childhood, and emergent literacy and numeracy in playful and play-based settings. The 2-day workshop will be held at Nature Play HQ - Wittunga House.
Educators will have the opportunity to reflect on the AITSL Professional Standards for Teachers in this work. They will also be able to consider how pedagogical documentation may illustrate their co-constructed work with children and families, as they seek deeper engagement in learning experiences which build child efficacy and capacity, informed by knowledge of the AEDC developmental domains
