Planning and Curriculum writing for SRM 2023 at CEO Thebarton, Rooms 7 and 8. The new SACE course SRM has been a success in its first year. This is the last Year of SACE Religion Studies . From 2023 SRM will be the preferred mode of delivering religion in the senior years. Please join us for a day of LAP and task planning and design. Some of our SRM SACE Lead Practioners will be present on the day as will Pru Raymond and members of the CESA CI Team.
This day will be an opportunity to collaborate with like-minded SRM teachers and develop Stage 1 and 2 tasks . Whilst all 3 assessment types in both Stage 1 and 2 will be discussed , the Issues Investigation (Stage 1) and Transformative Action component ( Stage 2) will be unpacked further. You may like to bring one or more of your teaching team to this day to build capacity and confidence in this space.
We also remind you and your teaching team that the SRM Plato professional learning should be completed by all teachers before they commence their SRM teaching . It takes about 1.5 hours and can be used for professional learning on the TRB records. Plato can be accessed via the SACE website
Please email deborah.lubatti@cesa.catholic.edu.au if you have a specific area you would like us to focus on for the day.
Finally, a Teams SRM has been set up to support our schools as we roll out SRM 2023. Watch this space as we share resources , ideas etc… if you cannot access for whatever reason email Deborah and she will add you manually.
If you have any registration queries please contact Christina Lagozzino at christina.lagozzino@cesa.catholic.edu.au or phone 8301 6659.
