This module will begin by articulating the key principles of the emerging ecological awareness. It will explore some of these insights for educators in
nurturing an ecological consciousness that builds ecological capacity. From this position the module will examine a theory of learning that underpins an
inquiry approach. Finally it will look at the Australian Curriculum’s crosscurricula priority of sustainability as well as how schools can foster ecological conversion, sustainable practices and education for sustainability.
The day aims to explore and articulate key principles of emerging ecological awareness and explore these insights for educators.

Cost:
$45 if paid by school
$49.50 if paid by individual (GST must be charged)
$25 if concession

Can be used as a System Accredited Module if participation
is full day AND a 1500 reflection task is completed.
