Mary, Angels and Artists: The Annunciation

The poet David Whyte draws us into the rich text of the Annunciation story, ‘...welcome back all you sent away, be a new annunciation, make yourself a door through which to be hospitable, even to the stranger in you….’. Artists enable us to enter the world on gospel narratives with heart and connection.

At this course we will explore Luke’s story of “The Annunciation” (Luke 1:36—39) using artist’s responses to this beautiful story.

Morning tea and lunch are provided on the day, please advise the office of any dietary requirments.

  Cost: $45 if paid by school

$49.50 if paid by individual (GST must be charged)

$25 if concession

Can be used as a System Accredited Module if participation
is full day AND a 1500 reflection task is completed.
