Cross-sector workshop

Teachers from R-5 will engage collaboratively in the development of teaching programs that reflect the embedding of Aboriginal and TSI histories and cultures as recommended by the Australian Curriculum.

Specific topics and skills to be covered include:
-  Historical Inquiry - teaching history effectively
-  Importance of Family - totems, moieties and their relevance today
-  Celebrations, Past and Present
-  First Contact
-  Using Lake Mungo Resources
-  Significant Sites
-  Familiarisation with Resource Centre Resources
