The Secondary Literacy Network provides support for the work of teachers, teachers designated as Literacy Coordinators and leaders in schools. The network is facilitated by Stephen Kelly, Secondary Literacy Consultant at the Catholic Education Office.
The network program in Terms 2, 3 and 4 will consist of 1 day each term. The network meetings are held from 9.00am - 3.30pm as follows:

*The Term 3 Network Day has been replaced by Secondary English: using and evaluating performance indicators workshop.
This professional learning will be based on materials developed by the Ontario Literacy Secretariat and connections will be made to middle and senior years curriculum and pedagogy. Teachers are encouraged to attend each of the three days, although each session is designed as a stand alone event.
