ONLINE LEARNING TRAINING
Two Sessions (3 modules) in
UNDERSTANDING ATTENTION DEFICIT/
HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER (ADHD)
Modules 1 & 2 - Friday 10 June, 9.00am - 3.30pm
Module 3 - Friday 24 June, 9.00am - 12.00pm
Venue: Online via MS Teams
Requirements: All participants are required to bring their own devices and Headphones or Earbuds to each session. In order to complete the course, participants must attend both sessions.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Three online training modules will be presented over two days. The course explores the kind of issues that students may face, and looks at different perspectives, including a strong student voice. It addresses possible cause and prevalence of ADHD and offers practical approaches that teachers and schools can use to better identify, understand, and support students' needs. The aim of the course is to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills of all those working with students with ADHD and to support inclusive practice through a positive approach.
The course equates to approximately 20 hours of professional learning, a proportion of which will be completed in participant's own time.
INTENDED FOR: Primary and secondary teachers.
