Intended Audience:
Primary and secondary teachers who will be making assessment judgements about EALD learners' achievement and proficiency levels for the CESA EALD data collection.
MANDATORY component: participation in an assessment Moderation activity is a requirement for all schools that will be submitting EALD data. You can participate remotely (this registration) or at the CEO – see other registration options)
The purpose of the Moderation activities is:
· To provide assurance of consistency and reliability of teacher judgement of EALD achievement and proficiency levels
· To provide dedicated space and time – for collaborative or focused assessment
Schools/teachers will be paired for the reliability check, which can be conducted from your school with this remote option. Closer to the time procedural information will be provided to those who have registered for this online/remote option.
