EALD Assessment Moderation - Option: CEO / onsite
participation on Thursday 2 June
Intended Audience:
Primary and secondary teachers who will be making assessment judgements about EALD learners' achievement and proficiency levels for the CESA EALD data collection.
MANDATORY COMPONENT: participation in an assessment Moderation activity is a requirement for all schools that will be submitting EALD data. You can participate onsite (this registration or remotely – see other registration options)
The purpose of the day is:
· To provide assurance of consistency and reliability of teacher judgement of EALD achievement and proficiency levels
· To provide dedicated space and time– for collaborative or focused assessment
AITSL National Professional Standards for Teachers:
Standard 5: Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning
Standard 6 : Engage in professional learning
