Effective Stewardship of Resources - Module 1

These modules aim to strengthen the leader’s capacity in financial leadership and depth, knowledge, understanding and skills required for application in their current context.  It is acknowledged that participants will have diverse experiences and expertise and the professional learning is designed to provide flexible and interactive approaches to learning entry points and outcomes. 

Newly appointed Principals should register along with their Business/Finance Managers.

These sessions will be held in conjunction with the newly appointed leaders in the Leaders Induction program at the CEO.

Attendance is recommended at both Modules 1 & 2:

Module 1: Tuesday 15 March 2022 8:30am to 11:30am

Module 2: Wednesday 24 August 2022 8:30am to 11:30am

The program for Module 1 includes:

• Sources of income to the system and each school
• System distribution of government grants to schools
• Relevance of private income
• The leader’s role in the responsible stewardship of school’s finances
• The current CESA landscape
