EALD Lead Teacher Network 2022
Intended Audience:
Educators with a key responsibility for co-facilitating the implementation of a school improvement priority in EALD.
Description:
The network for EALD Lead Teachers will provide participants with the opportunity to form learning partnerships that aspire for EALD learners to be thriving and capable learners, with a specific focus on the key capabilities in the Living Learning Leading framework and the Living Learning Leading Standard.
Current and new teachers who have a specific responsibility for EALD learners in their schools are encouraged to register to be part of this professional learning network in 2022.
Network Focus:
- Lead teacher development for quality school improvement
- System strategies and EALD
- Sharing of practice – differentiation for primary and secondary settings where appropriate
- Living Leading Learning framework and standard: Student Agency, community engagement, learning and assessment design
AITSL National Professional Standards for Teachers:
Standard 1: Know students and how they learn
Standard 2: Know the content and how to teach it
Standard 3: Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
Standard 4: Create and maintain supportive and safe learning environments
Standard 5: Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning
Standard 6: Engage in professional learning
Standard 7: Engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the community
Duration: 4 days (1 day each term) NB - November 1 2022 Workshop has the School Improvement and Review session embedded within it.
Please note: Term 1 workshop on Thursday March 31 2022 be held via TEAMS - a link will be sent prior to online gathering.
Catering: BYO Morning Tea / Lunch will be provided (sessions 2-4)
