CESA Leadership Onboarding and Induction Program

Newly appointed leaders in Diocesan schools are required to participate in the CESA Leadership Induction Program.  The program is for newly appointed substantive Principals, Deputy Principals and APRIMs as well as those appointed to an acting position for a period of six months or more.  While newly appointed Diocesan leaders must attend, leaders appointed in Catholic schools governed by other entities are most welcome to join the program.

This program will include two full days and two half days scheduled across the year and incorporates the two Effective Stewardship of Resources modules, which are also open to other school leaders.

Day 1:                     Friday 21 January 2022 - 9:00am - 1:30pm (MS Teams)

Day 2:                     Tuesday 15 March 2022 - 8:30am - 3:30pm

Day 3:                     Wednesday 8 June 2022 - 8:30am - 11:30am

Day 4:                     Wednesday 24 August 2022 - 8:30am - 11:30am

The Program for Day 1 includes:

·         Welcome address by Dr Neil McGoran

·         Child safety and safeguarding standards

·         CESA documentation requirements

·         The Leader in Me

·         Living, Learning, Leading Framework/Standard

·         CESA Leadership Standard

·         Staffing & Recruitment Procedures, Guidelines for Volunteers & Contractors

·         Operational procedures

·         Support for Leadership Teams
