MS TEAMS New Religious Leadership in Catholic Schools Policy and Statement

The new SACCS Religious Leadership in Catholic Schools Policy and accompanying Religious Leadership and the Catholic Identity and Mission of Schools statement were approved by SACCS at its October meeting. These are revisions of the 2015 Policy and Statement. At this MS Teams session, these documents will be discussed with School and CEO Leaders.

The Policy and Statement address the religious leadership exercised by all leaders and staff in Catholic education. These documents provide support for interpreting and applying CESA’s Living Learning Leading Standard (particularly with its Catholic Identity domain) and the Leadership Standard (principally its ‘Leading Catholic Identity’ professional practice). They also provide a foundation for the APRIM Policy and Procedures (2020) and the Professional Appraisal Guidelines of APRIMs (2021).
