This is a leadership development and professional learning community designed to support leaders in developing deeper understandings of how to connect Catholic Identity, Staff Spiritual and Religious Formation and school culture. In 2022 this will use Let us Dream: The Path to a Better Future by Pope Francis as an inspiration for considering new expressions of staff formation that meet contemporary needs, enhance core priorities of the school and enable effective leadership. This book delivers a contemporary, authentic and engaging exploration of the role that our faith plays in imagining a future of hope.
A key component is liaising with colleagues, sharing good practice and returning to school with the confidence, knowledge and resources to engage your staff community. Previous participants have reflected on the value of this collaboration and professional relationships for making Catholic Identity visible in their schools as well as developing their personal knowledge of theology and scripture. It is encouraged that you participate with colleagues from your school leadership team to maximise its impact on professional practice.
Goal
To meet the Formation Goal of the Catholic Identity and Mission Pillar that students, staff and leaders are formed so they can participate with faith, hope and love in the mission of God in their context.
Methodology
Engage with professional learning, collaborative planning and ongoing strategy development that highlights effective Religious and Spiritual Formation of staff that links to school vision and mission and facilitates a culture of making visible personal and religious faith formation.
