Workshop Aim

The aim of the workshop is to provide participants with the encouragement and confidence to initiate and engage in effective conversations.  The content will provide participants with practical tips, tools and frameworks to enhance conversations with team members, peers and managers.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will:

  • Acknowledge the consequences of not providing feedback/sharing information.
  • Appreciate the importance of setting individuals and teams up for success and discussing expectations.
  • Explain the importance of planning what, where and how feedback/information is delivered.
  • Gain an insight into the importance of communicating and the link to motivation.
  • Use the Preparing an Issue for Discussion Model.
  • Identify areas they need to personally develop in order to manage a conversation effectively.
  • Develop an action plan to promote ongoing enhancement of their abilities.
