Online SACE New 'Spiritualities, Religion and Meaning' Workshop

Monday 20 September | Week 10, Term 3 - 8:30am to 10.30 am

This workshop is a shortened repeat of the face to face PD on 20 August. It is for APRIMs, RECs, Religious Leaders and teachers of secondary RE specifically those in our country schools, but open to anyone locally who feels they would benefit from this session.

The aim of this workshop is to familiarise participants with the new subject outline, understand the new pedagogical frame - particularly the Big Ideas (a pedagogical shift in the senior RE setting) and learn about Requirements and Assessment Types. We will also briefly explore how to align the new course with our Crossways Curriculum for years 11 and 12 and how we can use SACE Spiritualities, Religion and Meaning as the mode of delivery.

We ask that participants please pre read pages 1, 5-14 of the Spiritualities, Religion and Meaning Subject Outline available via the SACE website.
