Whilst most people can recall the stories of many biblical heroes - Noah, Abraham, Moses and David, to name a few - the stories of biblical women are less well-known. This workshop will focus on the lives and accomplishments of a range of extraordinary women, from the Old Testament, through the gospels, to women in the early Church. Their courage, tenacity and faith in the most challenging of circumstances will be explored and celebrated. Their stories are as relevant today as they were when they were first recalled and retold nearly 2000 years ago. Explicit links will be made to the Doctrinal and Content Elaborations in the Knowledge Strand of the redesigned Crossways.
Please bring a bible on the day.
