Description
The workshop will consist of two parts: in the first part we will touch on the fundamentals of Curriculum Design, on how to design a unit of work and 'chunk' the linguistic content of a said unit. In the second part, we shall focus on Listening and Reading as Modelling; in other words on how to prime students for speaking and writing, using a synergy of listening and reading-for-learning, thereby facilitating learning, building students' self-confidence and self-efficacy, whilst creating durable retention. A listening/reading-for-learning sequence will be outlined in detail.
By registering now, you are committing to attend both sessions (25 August and 28 October 2021) and no further registration is required.
