SACE New 'Spiritualities, Religion and Meaning' Workshop
Friday August 20 (Week 5 Term 3) 8:30am to 1:00pm
This workshop is for APRIMs, RECs, Religious Leaders and teachers of secondary RE.
The aim of this workshop is to familiarise participants with the new subject outline, explore the new pedagogical frame - particularly the Big Ideas (a pedagogical shift in the senior RE setting ), learn about Requirements and Assessment Types, and develop materials (LAPs, task sheets, resources) to assist in implementation. A key component of the day will also be aligning the new course with our Crossways Curriculum for years 11 and 12 and exploring how we can use SACE Spiritualities , Religion and Meaning as the mode of delivery. Participants will have an opportunity to network together to develop strategies for the staged implementation in schools.
Please contact Deborah Lubatti (8301 6197) for any queries regarding the workshop.
