HALT Certification - Information, Annotation & Classroom Observations Workshop

The first session will:

• Explore all requirements for applying for certification as a Highly Accomplished or Lead teacher
• Explore the importance of writing clear, precise annotations that align evidence to each of the descriptors in the Teacher Professional Standards
• Be provided with opportunities to discuss the types of ongoing evidence that may be collected to evidence their application
• Have access to a supportive network to assist with the application process for certification
• Be able to structure applications, write annotations and analyse evidence sets with others to evaluate suitability

The second session will:

• Explore stage 2 requirements
• Explore the Classroom Practice Curriculum
• Explore observation of teachers practice.
