Workshop Description

The combined CESA and AISSA Term 2 Professional Learning Day will provide attendees with updated information about:

• VET for Secondary School Students in 2022
• alternative pathways to university for 2022 entry
• transition support programs available for school students in the final year of their secondary education
• career resources for students and schools
• an update from the SACE Board

The information is designed to assist you in your support of students transitioning from school and to be able to plan further for upcoming changes to subsidised VET. The day also includes a networking session, with facilitated discussion and sharing of resources, for those who attend in person.

Other staff in schools who provide information to support students in discerning their pathways from school or in making a successful transition from school, are also welcome to attend. You are encouraged to attend in person to maximise the value of the networking that occurs informally and in designated networking sessions. However, virtual attendance via Zoom will also be offered. Please note that the facilitated network session will not be available to virtual attendees.

A campus map and information about lunch will be provided to those who register to attend in person for the professional learning day.

For registrants who will attend virtually, a Zoom link will be provided closer to the day.
