An opportunity to engage with Wisdom Strand and understand its implications for curriculum design and pedagogy while exploring the cultivation of dispositions and how to create a climate for enhancing engagement, reflective practice and self-exploration. This course will explore what it really means to teach for and nurture spiritual awareness and religious identity, discernment, engagement, dialogue, respect, interpretation and seeking truth with your learners.

This interactive workshop will focus on going deeper in understanding the 'why' of the 'Wisdom' strand, the 'what' of the 'Wisdom' strand and also the 'how' of the 'Wisdom' strand.  We will also explore the relationship between the CESA Key Capabilities and the Wisdom strand.

The course material will be spit between online distance learning and face to face learning.

Course materials will be provided upon registration which will provide access to a powerpoint, readings, relevant frameworks and a survey monkey link. You will have the flexibility to engage with the content at your own pace and to respond to the survey monkey as you proceed with the material. You will need to use the SAME device each time you populate responses & it will recognise your last completion point. (These responses will be used for the reflection component for SAM fulfilment).

The final session will be held in Mt Gambier at Tenison Woods College in  face to face mode.

For meeting the requirements for System Accredited Module status all materials must be engaged with, survey monkey completed and attendance at final face to face session.
