Workshop Description
In 2021, the CESA Early Childhood Network (ECN) will bring together educators who work with children aged Birth - 8. All CESA leaders, teachers and educators of children in prior to school and first years of school settings, are invited to be part of the network.
The ECN returns this year with face to face meetings centrally at the Catholic Education Office, Thebarton, and via a series within regional centres also.
The Network meetings provide educators with opportunities to connect, share, be inspired and to learn from and with each other, and from specialists in Early Childhood Education and Care and child-related disciplines. Working alongside the Australian Early Development Census (AEDC) collection of children in their first year of school which takes place in 2021 and captures a snapshot across Australia of young children’s early development, the focus within the Early Childhood Network will be The Developing Child.
