Intended Audience

This half-day online workshop provides the training required for staff who are new to the role of NAPLAN online Coordinator.  Training will be delivered through O365 Teams to assist regional schools or school staff who find it difficult to attend in person sessions.

Training will be appropriate for both new and experienced Coordinators.

It is highly recommended that two participants from each school be trained, to provide support for each other up to and during:

• the national Coordinated Practice Test on 25 March and
• the NAPLAN Online test window from 11–21 May 2021

Focus

Participants will gain:

• advice on correctly scheduling the NAPLAN Online program of tests to ensure all students undertake all required online tests during the test window
• strategies for supporting their students’ and school readiness
• thorough training in all NAPLAN Coordinator functions of the 2021 version of the NAPLAN online assessment platform, in the context of the authorised national test protocols
• insights and strategies for in-school training of teachers to be Test Administrators using the 2021 online assessment platform, supported by nationally developed training materials
