Intended For

Primary and secondary teachers who wish to practise and build their confidence in making assessment judgements using the LEAP Levels. 
Teachers are encouraged to form school-based groups to work collaboratively on the assessment clarifying task before engaging with the online session.    

Time:  3.30-5pm commitment: 3.30-4.15 at school AND 4.15 - 5pm online via Teams

Description:

The clarifying session will be conducted in three parts:

1. On the morning of the session, participants will be provided with a control text, recording proforma and electronic copy of the LEAP Levels.
2. In the 45-60 minutes prior to the online session, participants (in school-based groups if possible) use the LEAP Levels to analyse the text and assign a level.
3. Meet online for a guided discussion to clarify and confirm the assessment judgement.
