Intended For
Primary and secondary teachers who will be making assessment judgements about EALD learners' achievement and proficiency levels for the CESA EALD data collection.  


The purpose of the day is to provide:

  • assurance of consistency and reliability of teacher judgement of EALD achievement and proficiency levels
  • dedicated space – for collaborative or focused assessment

MANDATORY component: participation in the assessment reliability activity (conducted entirely via Teams) for all schools that will be submitting EALD data.

‘Face to face’ participation at the CEO is encouraged and welcome but not essential for the reliability check to be completed.   

Schools/teachers will be paired for the reliability check, which can be conducted from the CEO conference centre or from your school.

Standard 5: Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning
Standard 6: Engage in professional learning

Cost: No fee

Catering: BYO morning tea/snacks.  LUNCH will be provided.
