Intended Audience

This online Question and Answer workshop is designed to complement, not replace, the following required training options for NAPLAN online Coordinators:

• Face to Face training for new NAPLAN online Coordinators (March 1 and 2)
• Face to Face refresher training for experienced NAPLAN online Coordinators (March 3)
• Online Plink modules for experienced NAPLAN online Coordinators.

This online workshop (Microsoft Teams) provides an opportunity for NAPLAN Coordinators to ask questions and view demonstrations prior to the:

• the national Coordinated Practice Test on 25 March and,
• the NAPLAN Online test window from 11–21 May 2021.

Topics covered will include:

• the scheduling of the NAPLAN Online program of tests to ensure all students undertake all required online tests during the test window
• strategies for supporting their students’ and school readiness, including students requiring adjustments.
• functions of using the NAPLAN online assessment platform.
• insights and strategies for in-school training of teachers to be Test Administrators using the 2021 online assessment platform.

Focus

Participants will gain:

• refresher training in all NAPLAN Coordinator functions in the 2021 version of the NAPLAN online assessment platform, in the context of the authorised national test protocols
• insights and strategies for in-school training of teachers to be Test Administrators using the 2021 online assessment platform, supported by nationally developed training materials

Please Note

• participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop
• computers will be available in the training venue if needed
• no software needs to be pre-loaded before the workshop
