Intended Audience

This training is for new Coordinators only.

This one-day face-to-face workshop provides the training required for staff who are new to the role of NAPLAN online Coordinator.

It is highly recommended that two participants from each school be trained, to provide support for each other up to and during:

• the national Coordinated Practice Test on 25 March and
• the NAPLAN Online test window from 11 - 21 May 2021

Please note:  With reduced spaces available due to social distancing requirements, these workshops are limited to staff who are new to the role of NAPLAN online Coordinator.  For experienced Coordinators, please refer to:

• Online modules, details will be sent from mid-February from the naplan@cesa.catholic.edu.au email address.

Focus

Participants will gain:

• advice on correctly scheduling the NAPLAN Online program of tests to ensure all students undertake all required online tests during the test window
• strategies for supporting their students’ and school readiness
• thorough training in all NAPLAN Coordinator functions of the 2021 version of the NAPLAN online assessment platform, in the context of the authorised national test protocols
• insights and strategies for in-school training of teachers to be Test Administrators using the 2021 online assessment platform, supported by nationally developed training materials

Please Note

• participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop
• computers will be available in the training venue if needed
• no software needs to be pre-loaded before the workshop
