Target Group: R-12 Lead or Key Teachers

Activity Overview:

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) have released an online professional development program Connect.ed.  Connect.ed is a free resource open to primary and secondary teachers designed to train teachers to protect students from potential online dangers.

To support schools raise awareness of this online professional development program, a centrally hosted session will be provided for teachers.  As a result of participating in this activity, it is expected applicants will bring the program to the attention of and develop professional learning opportunities for their school context.

Participants will develop a Cybersafety program or activity based on the ACMA’s comprehensive CyberSmart teaching resources that can be used in their school.
