Workshop Description
This innovative project is in partnership with NoTosh Limited. NoTosh has earned a reputation for its collaborative approaches with schools wanting to embed STEM practice that is as ubiquitous as technology. Led through a design process by NoTosh, the project will bring together CESA’s School Quality and Performance (SQP) Education Advisors and educators, to co-design a STEM Playbook of pedagogical tools which can be utilised when designing STEM learning opportunities. The STEM Playbook will become a unique digital artefact for educators to share back within their schools. Educators will engage in a two-day intensive workshop to design a STEM unit, which embeds the Design Thinking framework with the option of co-construction with their students. This unit is to be implemented in Term 2 by the educators, who will share the outcomes and lessons learnt in the final workshop. This final workshop will provide educators the tools to scale and lead STEM learning within their schools.
