Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum Training.

All teachers in SA Catholic schools are required to complete Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum Training. This training is required before teachers can teach the Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum. Please note that Responding to Abuse and Neglect is a separate mandatory requirement.

Teachers who have already completed Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum training would not be required to attend this training session if they provide evidence of the training to their school. Teachers who have completed the Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum training in other SA sectors are not required to be re-trained; however, it is an expectation that school leaders will provide induction around the Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum Teacher Support Module for SA Catholic Schools.
