Intended For
Regional (Country) Teachers of EALD learners who already have training and experience in using the Language and Literacy Levels

Focus

This is an opportunity for teachers to become familiar with the new Learning English: Achievement and Proficiency (LEAP) Levels in a guided environment. 

We will examine the document and identify similarities and differences with the Language and Literacy Levels and the implications.  Then, apply the LEAP Levels by collaboratively "levelling" a text.

Standard 5: Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning
Standard 6: Engage in professional learning
