Evaluating Graduate to Proficient Teachers (TRB Requirements)

The session will be run in conjunction with the TRB for evaluators of teachers seeking their full registration and mentors of those teachers.

This session will provide information for leaders, line managers and mentors who have a role as the evaluator of teachers planning to apply for full registration.

This presentation will provide participants with information about the evaluator role, the purpose and obligations of full registration and exemplars of processes that can be used to support teachers, in particular early career teachers, as they move from provisional to full registration.

The Teachers Registration and Standards Act 2004 (the Act) anticipates that teachers will not remain on provisional registration beyond 3 years and Catholic Education SA expects that most teachers should be able to move to full registration within 2 years.
