Phonics Screening Check (PSC) 2020 - Online Training

Last Day to Register: Friday 26 June 2020

FOCUS
Current circumstances have required a review of the implementation process for the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check (PSC) in 2020.  The PSC check window will now be between Weeks 5-8, Term 3 (2 weeks later than originally scheduled), providing the situation with COVID-19 continues to be controlled.

• Training for Year 1 Teachers new to the PSC:
  Training for the administration of the PSC will now be delivered via an online learning platform in Week 1, Term 3.  Participants are asked to register for one of the sessions listed below. 

• Option 1: Tuesday 21 July, 1pm-3-pm
• Option 2: Thursday 23 July, 1pm-3-pm (This is a repeat of session 1)

Please note: The face-to-face training that was scheduled for Week 8 Term 2, Monday 15 June has been cancelled.
