An exploration of the concept of hospitality in creating a learning and pedagogical space in the RE classroom. This will use the Wisdom strand as a basis for engendering hospitality as a way of engaging students with the Catholic Identity of your school and inviting all participants an active voice and agency. This will deepen the notion of dialogue in the RE classroom as the space where change can take place through use of art, video and the wisdom of Henri Nouwen.
In light of COVID-19 restrictions we will engage with this PLW with participants at home using Microsoft teams and there would be 2 opportunities to connect together and some activities, readings and videos to engage with around these sessions. A further reflection would still be required to meet the requirements for SAM status. This will require you having a device that you can access Microsoft Teams through your school login and a viable internet connection at home. At this stage I am proposing:

Cancellation policy applies: 48 hours notice must be given or applicant will be charged the workshop fee. If withdrawing after this time due to illness or extenuating circumstances, the cost for catering will be invoiced.
